As a coach, Dan Gable's feats are unmatched. He served as the University of Iowa's head wrestling coach for 21 years. He is Iowa's all-time winningest coach, compiling a career record of 355-21-2. He coached 152 all-Americans, 45 national champions, 106 Big Ten champions and 12 Olympians, including four gold medalists. Gable's teams won the Big Ten title every year he was the head coach of the Iowa program. He had a winning percentage of .932, compiled seven perfect seasons and captured nine consecutive NCAA Championships (1978-86). He is a three-time Olympic head coach (1980, 1984 and 2000) – with the 1984 Olympic team winning seven gold medals. On the mat, Gable compiled an unbelievable record of 182-1. He was undefeated in 64 prep matches and 118-1 at Iowa State. Gable was a three-time all-American, three-time Big Eight champion and two-time national champion. Gable earned national fame in 1972 when he won a gold medal at the Summer Olympics. On his way to the championships, he did not surrender a point to any of his opponents. Gable was named to the U.S.A. Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1980 and to the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 1985. He was named the nation's outstanding wrestler by the AAU in 1970 and the U.S. Wrestling Federation in 1971. He was the Amateur Wrestling News Man of the year in 1970. In addition, Gable was named one of the "Top 100 Olympians" of all time.

Greg Strobel Greg Strobel
Lehigh University Head Coach
A 2-time NCAA Champion while competing at Oregon State University, Strobel has carried that success into the coaching ranks. Under Strobel's guidance, Lehigh has won six EIWA team championships, including a string of five in a row from 2002-2006, and in 2004 guided the Mountain Hawks to a school-record 22 dual wins and a career-best third place finish at the NCAA Championships. For his accomplishments Strobel was named the 2004 NWCA National Coach of the Year. Strobel has guided Lehigh to four top-10 finishes in five Years. Strobel has led the Mountain Hawks to 11 straight winning seasons and has coached two Lehigh national champions, six Lehigh NCAA finalists, 30 Lehigh All-Americans, and 27 EIWA Champions. He has been honored four times by the EIWA as Coach of the Year. Strobel served as the 2000 Olympic Freestyle Coach and that same Year led the United States to a World Cup Championship. In the past, Strobel was named the 1999 United States Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year, the USOC's National Coach of the Year in 1998 and the 1997 National Freestyle Coach of the Year in 1997.

Jeff Swenson Jeff Swenson
former Augsburg College Head Wrestling Coach
Coach Swenson served as Augsburg's wrestling head coach for 25 seasons, building the squad into a national small-college wrestling powerhouse. Under his leadership, Augsburg won a record-10 NCAA Division III national championships and produced a career dual-meet record of 321-44 (.879 winning percentage). Augsburg is one of only three NCAA schools to have won 10 or more wrestling national titles (Oklahoma State has won 34 Division I team titles, while Iowa has won 20 Division I team titles). Augsburg has also finished second in Division III national competition seven times, and has finished among the top four teams in national competition 19 seasons in a row -- the only NCAA school in any division that can make that claim. During his tenure, Swenson coached 39 individual national champions. Augsburg has had at least six All-Americans every year since 1996 and at least five All-Americans every year since 1989. Swenson, whose teams also won 20 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team titles, was named MIAC Coach of the Year 13 times and NWCA National Coach of the Year six times and was inducted into the NCAA Division III Wrestling Coaches Hall of Fame in 2005. As a wrestler at Augsburg, Swenson earned NAIA All-American honors three times and won the national title at 167 pounds in 1979.

Tim Cysewski Tim Cysewski
Northwestern University Head Coach
In his rookie year as head coach (1988-89), Tim Cysewski led Northwestern to a best-ever fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and a third-place finish in the Big Ten, which he replicated in the 2006-07 season. In between, Coach Cysewski has led 23 Wildcats to All- America honors, including two national champions, 10 Big Ten titlists and 73 wrestlers have qualified for the NCAA Championships. In addition, Cysewski has been active on the international coaching scene, having served as head coach at the Pan Am Games, coached at the 1993 U.S. Olympic Festival and served as an assistant coach for the 1990 U.S. Wrestling Team at the World Cup Championships. As a competitor, he is a former All-American, U.S. World Team member and a five-time Midlands champion. Cysewski is a member of the Illinois Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Midlands Hall of Fame.

Goldman Duane Goldman
University of Indiana Head Coach
Under Coach Goldman's guidance the Indiana wrestling program has seen tremendous success. Last season, under Goldman's tutelage, Joe Dubuque became the first wrestler in IU history to win back-to-back national championships. Goldman has made his mark in history by taking the Hoosiers to the NCAA Championships 13 times in his 15 years at the helm, second-most by any coach in school history, is the school's all-time leader in wins and has recorded the most dual-meet wins in a season. As a collegiate wrestler, Goldman dominated at the University of Iowa. He won four Big Ten Championships and finished as a four-time NCAA All-American, including an NCAA Championships in his final season at 190 pounds.
