• Festus Lagat: 5x All-American, 3rd place at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships, school record 1:45.05 in the 800m

Ellen Davis is a registered dietitian and board certified specialist in sports dietetics (CSSD) and provides sports nutrition consultation and education throughout Iowa.

Davis developed her passion for treating food as a fuel as a collegiate runner at the University of Missouri.

Irving "Boo" Schexnayder possesses 45 years of coaching and consulting experience, and currently heads Schexnayder Athletic Consulting. He consults in a variety of sports with professional teams, NCAA programs, and foreign sports bodies in speed and power training, biomechanics, restoration, and rehabilitation, and frequently lectures on these topics. Noted for his 18 years at LSU as a track coach, he produced 26 NCAA champions, 18 Olympians, and 8 world championship/Olympic medalists and was part of 14 national championship teams. He is a member of the USTFCCCA Track Coaches Hall of Fame. He has also served as National coach for Team USA several times, including the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. An educator by profession and mentor to hundreds of coaches, he directs the educational programs of the USTFCCCA. Before LSU, he coached at Blinn College, being part of two Juco National titles, and Louisiana-Lafayette. He began his career coaching 11 years at St. James (LA) High School, in football, track, and cross country.

Karim Abdel Wahab, who is a native of Egypt, joined Georgia's staff guiding the sprinters and hurdlers in July 2023 after serving in a similar role for the University South Carolina team during the 2019-23 seasons and has made a mammoth impact in Athens. With a significant contribution from Abdel Wahab's longer sprints and hurdles group, the Lady Bulldogs won the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the second consecutive year in 2026. In fact, the Georgia women have now captured three straight team titles after winning the 2026 NCAA indoor and outdoor meets as well as the 2025 outdoor Nationals.

Most recently, Abdel Wahab swept the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) South Region Indoor and Outdoor Women's Assistant Coach of the Year honors while also earning the National Women's Assistant Coach of the Year accolade outdoors. He guided senior Dejanea Oakley, who joined her teammate Adaejah Hodge as two of the three finalists for The Bowerman in 2026, to the collegiate record in the outdoor 400-meter dash (48.79, No. 13 all-time world performer) during the final at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Oakley also collected the SEC outdoor crown (48.92) and the NCAA indoor championship (50.47) at 400m.

He is an internationally known performance coach. His work has been featured in outlets such as The New York Times and Wall Street Journal. He is host of the podcast "excellence, actually" and on faculty at The University of Michigan.

In 2017, Kenny and Jane Wheeler will enter their 10th season at the helm of the Pleasant Valley Girl's Track and Field team. Jane works primarily with the middle and distance groups while Kenny has responsibilities over the sprints, hurdle, and long jump events. Their teams have won MAC conference titles seven of the last eight years (2009-16) and they have shared the MAC Coach of the Year Awards five times, most recently in 2015 and 2016. They have placed in the top seven at the state meet in four consecutive years including runner-up finishes in 2013 and 2016, and a state team championship in 2015 in which their team set the Class 4A scoring record. They have been named IATC Class 4A State Coaches of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and At-Large Coaches of the Year in 2013. They were recipients of the High School State Coach of the Year award for Iowa presented by the US Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) in 2015, and most recently named the Des Moines Register's All-Iowa girls' track coaches of the year in 2016.

Kevin Hopp has been coaching 7-12 grade runners in cross country and track for 26 years. He has coached boys cross country at Stevens Point High School since 2003. During that time, his teams have won eight Wisconsin State Cross Country titles and been runner up five times. His 2019, 2022 and 2023 teams qualified for the NXN race in Portland. Coach Hopp has been named the Wisconsin Cross Country Coaches Association Coach of the Year seven times, the USTFCCCA Wisconsin Coach of the Year three times and the NFHS National Cross Country Coach of the Year for 2023-24. Coach Hopp has been running since the age of nine and continues to enjoy coaching, running and sharing his passion with others.
