Coach Eric Duft’s Continuity Ball Screen Offense IS that offense!Coach Duft’s offense uses multiple concepts to keep the defense off balance and allows multiple scoring opportunities. This ‘read & react’-style ball screen continuity offense can create multiple shot opportunities for multiple players on the roster, even players that are undersized. You will learn step by step how to install a free flow offensive system for your program.Coach Duft also shows how they guard ball screen situations.Offensive ActionPick and Roll action can be used in many different ways. In this video, Coach Duft uses the pick and roll in either a wing ball screen while utilizing cutters to produce efficient offense, or entering with a guard to guard pin down action. Both will be effective at getting open opportunities for your guards utilizing the ball screen, allowing shooters to fill for open looks, and allow for your posts to have efficient looks near the basket. With an emphasis on reading the screen, guards will come off looking to play with fast feet while making simple reads within this offensive system. Coach Duft’s does a great job in his 3-0 installation of the offense, allowing guards and posts to make the proper reads, and how to react to certain ball-screen defenses. This modernized offense can be used with players that are skilled in multitudes of ways. The wing ball screen will take advantage of a hard hedge or switch that most defenses will look to use in space and create mismatches offensively.Entries & ReadsCoach Duft’s philosophy in a ball-screen continuity offense is that the screens are used to allow reads to be made to play with space to find scoring opportunities. In his system, the guards are taught to use fast feet and allow the offense to “slow down”, and make reads based off of concepts and reads.Duft likes to use guard pin downs or back cuts as an entry into his offense, where the big then chases into a ball-screen with the ball handler. He then teaches the guards coming off the ball screen to read both the big who rolls to the basket and the guard cutting to the opposite corner for an open 3. By playing fast and with space within the Ball-Screen Continuity, it allows his players to have a freedom to decide what scoring opportunities may be presented.Coach Duft’s installation of the offense by teaching entries in a 3-0 setting allows the players to make simple offensive reads in a 5 on 5 setting. By playing fast and with space, players are able to make easy reads in a simple, yet effective way. Coaches can use this video to learn how to install a new offense, and identify simple reads for players to use coming off of ball-screens.Customer Rating(s): 5 Out of 5 Stars!“This is an awesome video. Coach Duft shows an example of how to practice 3-man and continue as 5 on 0. Ratings & Reviews Developing & Mastering Ball Screen Continuity Offense on January 24, 2026 Currently 5/5 Stars.5/5 Stars 5 by coach_jd Really good Euro Ball Screen teaching DVD. This is presented for a clinic with other players & some of those can be iffy sometimes but this is really well-done if you are like me & still learning details of this offense. Coach breaks it down in SSG's to help better teach & get more reps. I'd have liked to have heard a little more detail but he presents well. It's still fairly general with some detail added & covers a lot of ground, but it's not a definitive video. I give it 5* for how well he teaches & how applicable the material is to use. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?
