Wabash Valley College (IL) Head Coach (2022-2023);
Wabash Valley College (IL) Assistant Coach (2019-2022);
University of Texas Graduate Assistant (2017-2019, under Shaka Smart)

Wisconsin's Isaac Wodajo delivers a detailed and practical approach to building a modern pace-and-space offense through competitive, game-based drills.

This video walks you through the methods used within the Wisconsin program to develop an offense that plays fast, shares the ball, and consistently creates high-quality scoring opportunities. Through a progression of 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 drills, you will see how to teach spacing, decision making, and offensive reads in a way that translates directly to game performance.

Wodajo begins with the Ball Screen 33 series, breaking down how to teach actions such as pin, curl, and chase while emphasizing reading the defense. These drills build habits that allow players to recognize advantages and attack with confidence.

The Attack 44 and Celtics Attack drills demonstrate how to develop transition offense that prioritizes ball movement, quick decisions, and spacing. These segments replicate game conditions while reinforcing communication, passing, and shot selection.

You will also learn how to implement the GTB and Go drill to connect rebounding with immediate transition offense, helping your team convert defense into scoring opportunities quickly and efficiently.

A major focus of this video is practice design. Wodajo shares his point system along with a clear framework for measuring performance, setting objectives, and emphasizing key habits. This structure ensures practices remain competitive, purposeful, and aligned with your program's identity.

The video concludes with a reliable baseline out-of-bounds set, along with insights on adding counters and variations to keep your offense one step ahead.

This is a complete guide to building a faster, smarter, and more efficient offense through intentional drills, clear teaching, and competitive practice environments.

Attended this clinic in the Dells and a little biased being a WI basketball fan but Coach Wodajo was informative. Found out he was a late add that was scheduled to speak right after Iowa's Ben McCollum. Coach Wodajo had a lot of great coaching points and clear instructions. The points system in practice depends on what you want to emphasize and accomplish on your individual team.

What are we measuring?
What are the objectives?
Here is what we are emphasizing.

Speed of the ball, player, and decision.

The drills and games make playing in transition and playing fast, more controlled and competitive for practices. Coach did a good job.

The first video in my library from Isaac Wodajo. His teaching methods are excellent and the drills are well designed. This video is easily four stars; however, it's five stars in my book because of the value and structure it lends to summer open gyms. Teach the 3v3, 4v4, and 5v5 games and drills to your team and let them compete within the structure presented in this video by Coach Isaac. Look forward to more of his DVDs.

Isaac was good at explaining the small sided game Wisconsin uses in 3 vs 3, and with the drills to play faster and for conditioning. Good and clear communication that covered the basics of the drills, while giving coaching points to show what can be done. He then explained what the points can be to emphasize certain things you want for your team and to keep it competitive.

Good video from the Wisconsin clinic. As a former college coach and now high school head coach, these drills translate if you want to play in space and play faster with pace. Isaac sets the table with what WI does offensively to intro their offense to start with a small sided half court 3v3 and get reps in this same drill during the season. Using different action and having the defense do different coverages in ball screens for the players to make reads.

Attack 44 and GTB & go and Celtic attack are good drills in the preseason to teach spacing within your offense and how to play out of closeouts, drive and kick, and get a great shot. Great for conditioning also and can implement rebounding and defensive principles within these drills. Transition defense, guarding 1 on 1, being in help, scrambling to help, closeouts, rebound, etc....

Isaac uses vocabulary that is easy to understand and comprehend. Can tell he's been a head coach by how he repeats things and around some great coaches to always keep it simple, yet accomplish playing in space and with pace that takes time to build. Good BLOB at the end.
