55 years ago, Coach Bill Bergan initiated what would become the annual Iowa Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Clinic. Bill also founded the Iowa Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (IATC) a year later and the two have been intertwined ever since. When Bill set the first clinic in motion he was a rising star in the cross country/track & field coaching world.
