Great instruction. A few simple, clear and memorable techniques that lead into takedowns. Great video regardless of skill level.

Great video for an advanced or athletically gifted wrestler. Jon Trenge is an excellent instructor who really knows how to make teaching entertaining so learning comes easy. A lot of these techniques require some very good flexibility and coordination to be able to pull off. If you're an old guy who wants to brush up for the over 40 open bracket you might want to leave this one alone unless you've never stopped practicing your whole life. Jon Trenge is clearly an amazing athlete. Seeing him literally whip his practice partner around and through the air in these videos alone is worth watching. Trenge teaches you how to use your leg as an extra arm to attack with. Your opponents will have to figure out how to grow themselves a new arm during the wrestling match to defend against you after you've watched this. Great techniques, great instruction. I saw an editing error in the video that made keeping track of the names of these techniques a little more challenging but that just made the video a little more cool for me. Now everyone will have to buy it and watch it just to see if they can find mistake.

This a very helpful video for all coaches. Today, many coaches avoid getting up close and "wrestling" an opponent. This video does an excellent job of showing coaches and wrestlers how become comfortable with aggressive in your face wrestling. In addition, I agree with another comment. All of his quirky names: ie "Fonz" are a bit goofy, but it does help you remember the sequence of moves and makes it easier for you to transmit the information to your wrestlers. Great job Coach Trenge.

Great stuff for those who like to throw or trip, including some really clever finishes like the power trip directly to a fall. Trenge is an excellent teacher, and I found that the cutesy names he gives to the building blocks you'll need to complete the techniques, far from becoming annoying, actually DID help me remember them. From the Steven Seagal to the Fonz to the Dance Move, etc., you'll find yourself coming away from this DVD with a good idea how to really use an overhook as an offensive weapon -- even from a "bad" position where your opponent controls your far wrist and has head position. Recommended!

This is the best DVD on the site in terms of learning the overhook and also some nasty throws that work! I was able to do many moves on this DVD just be practicing them a few times. I love the way Coach Trenge breaks down the techniques, rock solid stuff. GET THIS DVD!

Really good dvd. He shows how he made his opponents underhook into his position. Complete with set ups, series of moves, and how to practice them. He goes into detail and sequences.
Kids think his moves are cool and like to practice them.

This is one of the very best instructional videos I have seen. Jon Trenge is animated, a great teacher, and his material is all very relevant!!! He needs to do more!!!
