Training the Keys to a First Ball Side Out

The more efficient your team becomes with converting their opponents' serves into first ball side outs, the higher your players' confidence will soar! Coach Stemke starts with serve receive skills - posture, arm allocation, foot movement and communication - using different drills you can use to improve your team's ability to pass to the net. She moves on to the hitting aspect; arm swing, foot speed and transitioning, hitting from anywhere, and the ability to run an offense at a speed to get the defense wondering how to keep up.
