Puck movement and puck efficiency is the key to successful hockey.

Hockey players don't want to wait in long, stale "lines" at practice.  They want to skate with speed, handle the puck at a high level and finish with a strong accurate play, just like the pros.

Knowing and understanding how to adjust their speed and being able to maneuver in all different directions on the ice makes the player dominant and a menace to defend.

Efficient aspects and expectations on how each breakout, neutral zone regroup, or any other tactical pattern can happen when attacking the opposition.  When skating with pace and as a unit, the team will be confident and familiarized with what is needed to be successful.

You will see 12 fast-paced drills; one that really sets up many facets of the game of hockey was 'Hunt the Puck'.  In this drill - everyone touches the puck, all finish with a shot and hunt for the rebounds.  It starts as one drill, incorporating many players and morphs into a second drill, a 1v1.

Coach Dawes teaches his brand of hockey as a fast pace, up and down kind of game.  Traveling not just North and South on the ice surface, but East and West as well.  While adding specific details and habits into practice, this will build confident and astute hockey players!

Customer Review: 5 out of 5 stars! "This is an excellent video for any coach who wants to have their players play at a high tempo level while preparing for their next game!"
