Build Structure, Speed, and Offensive Flow
Run your offense with the structure, speed, and efficiency that define Tom Izzo's championship teams. In this video, Coach Izzo shares his complete approach to building a transition system that naturally flows into man-to-man offense.

The Numbered Break Explained
Izzo begins by detailing the numbered break, explaining how each player's lane, position, and responsibility establish spacing, pace, and organization. You'll learn the point guard's initiation points, how wings sprint to lanes, and how post players rim-run to create early scoring opportunities.

On-Court Progressions and Drills
Through a series of transition drills, including the 3-Man Break and multiple 5-Man Break progressions, such as Blitz or Break, Wings, Trailer, and Post. Coach Izzo shows how to refine communication, spacing, timing, and decision-making in transition.

Seamless Flow Into Man-to-Man Offense
When the defense stops the initial break, Izzo demonstrates how to flow directly into early offense using actions like Hold, Loop, Shake, and Runner. These concepts maintain constant movement and pressure, forcing the defense to stay in reaction mode.

Philosophy, Rebounding, and Adjustments
Izzo also addresses broader coaching principles, including teaching methodology, rebounding priorities, and in-game adjustments, giving coaches the "why" behind the system, not just the "what."

Customer Comments: 5 Out of 5 Stars!
"There are so many layers covered to help you focus on and develop a successful offensive system of play in this video out of transition. Coach Izzo does a fantastic job of breaking it down. His teaching and details are so beneficial, relatable, and easy to follow, and I fully understand how I can implement it with my team now; I would highly recommend this video to any coach!"

I agree with the first review. I am a huge Izzo fan and have a majority of his DVD's (when that was a thing) and was excited to buy this instant download. There is nothing new and this is very basic (which can be good). I would look for another option.

I am a huge Izzo fan and own most if not all of his DVDs and was excited to see a new release from him. This one has very little to offer and seems rushed - save your money!

I am just going to send my bank account and anytime you release a Tom Izzo video - please deduct whatever the cost is and put it in my online account immediately! I honestly just love Coach Izzo. He is not only the best coach I have ever listened to but I fall on the floor laughing every time I watch one of his videos. He has such a way with the players, with his analogies and so great at making a salient coaching point.
This video is GOLD. We have been so sloppy and inefficient on our breaks and these drills and tips are exactly the kind of inspiration I have been searching for. I am confident that we will perform so much tighter as a result of many of the things I have learned from this video. Thank you and good luck Coach Izzo! I hope you get another chip before you call it a day! You are one of the all time greats!
