Not nearly as good or as informative as I thought it would be coming from Jim Larranga.

Very detailed explanations and demonstrations in the video and in the book. I learned this many years ago from a book by Dean Smith, "Multiple Offenses and Defenses". Having a video to go with it really helps.

AN excellent DVD in Jim Larranaga's scramble defense which is essentially a 1-2-2 half court press with many variations.Very good presentation and breakdown drills on how to install it.

This is a great DVD from Jim Larranaga. While it is a bit old, filmed during Larranaga's time at Bowling Green, it is one of the better produced DVD's I've seen from Championship Productions. The DVD frequently cuts to game footage and practice footage of Larranaga's player performing what he is describing on the whiteboard.

The DVD builds up from 1 on 1 to 2 on 1, to 3 on 3, to 4 on 4 and then to 5 on 5. At the end of the video, Larranaga shows on the whiteboard a couple of different formations to defend, which is important since the rotations will vary depending on how the offense aligns themselves.

This is the perfect DVD if you are are seeking to understand the Scramble Defense. Larranaga thoroughly covers the two elements of the Scramble Defense (trapping the ball handler and trapping the first pass) and the rotations which come along with it. If you are looking for a complete and total understanding of the Scramble and to have a change-up to your man to man defense, this is for you.

Great defensive DVD! If pressure M2M is your game this is a must! Easy to follow, great break down drills. Will cause havoc on offenses.

Great DVD if your just learning the scrable. Coach L gives you drills to build it on and does a super job of laying out it's usage. Highly recomend for high school or middle school coaches wanting to learn the basics. I will be getting more of coach L's scrable DVD's!! : }

Excellent video for a change of pace in man defense. Well thought out and easy to follow.
