The most versatile player on the court is the wing player and for that reason Sean Miller has put together a complete wing workout to help you develop their skills and help them get a better feel for the game. Coach Miller works on all phases of the wing's game including post play, transition, cutting, screening, shooting, and ball handling. This is a comprehensive look at how you can develop your wing players to be the complete package on the court.

Coach Miller demonstrates four shooting drills that focus on the 1-2 step and shoot method. This simple 1-2 step routine gets his guys to be consistent with their balance and positioning on every shot. He shows you how to maximize your players time in the gym using seven spots on the court allowing your players to get up as many shots possible in a short amount of time. He teaches 2 pointers, 3 pointers, and shots on the move to simulate the actions your wings will take to score come game time.

A wing player must have the ability to catch and evaluate the scoring opportunity. Coach Miller has developed a wing segment called triple threat were players are learning to play off the catch in the half court. Catching the ball in the triple threat position give the wing player the best advantage possible. Coach Miller then uses this stance to work on different attacks. In order for your players to become a scoring threat, he teaches how to develop a dominant pivot foot leading into your cutting and scoring action. Using weak side, strong side, and catch and jab drives, your players will learn to attack any defender.

No wing player would be complete without the ability to come off screens and set screens in the half court. Coach Miller demonstrates every possible cutting action that your wing players will encounter in order to free themselves for an open shot. He teaches five basic screening actions in the curl, fade, pop, back cut, and button hook.

Once your players have mastered the cutting and scoring, they must be able to free their teammates for open looks too. Coach Miller teaches your wings how to read and set the perfect screen for teammates to get open. He also goes in detail into how the screener can get open after setting the screen creating a scoring threat using any type of screen. Several read and react actions such as slips, curls, change-of-directions, bumps, and button-hooks are all demonstrated as a means for a cutter to use the screen to create space for a score.

This is by far one of the best wing development video training courses that any coach must have in their collection. Develop the most dangerous offensive player on the court by learning these essentials attack skills from the wing.

I believe the player he is working out is Aaron Gordon. An future /current. NBA player. Sean miller is a good to great player dev coach with the coaching and teaching he does,, he has some GREAT teaching points or nuggets for the beginner or intermediate player and maybe some advanced, a lot of shooting and drills and things to think about in the topics he covers when I talk about points he went over. This s a good workout for the summer for any HIGH SCHOOL or even some COLLEGE platers, and things they can do on their own as well with partner or even some by themselves.

The reason its 3 stars is that tis not worth 40$ imo its got a lot of same shooting drills and I was hoping to see more ball handling and ball handling, driving and finishing for wings , I think there could have been 2-3 more drills that were diff than shooting. Again, it has some good drills for shooting with HIGHLEVEL advice in the drills and getting better in the drills but just wish there could have been far more drills involved for the price point I think 2.5 is more accurate if I could.
