Classic DVD! I had it on VHS back in the day (as a gift from my college coach); I learn something new every time I watch it. His principles on defense changed since this was filmed in 1986, but the concepts are still applicable. No one teaches man to man better than Dick Bennett. I bought two copies so that I can share this with my younger level staff.

Old school chalkboard presentation, with old school lingo, but absolutely, positively awesome tape. Great info, great detail, and great old school drills. Love it!!

An older video, but I found it the most comprehensive, informative and easy to follow of the several defensive system videos that I have purchased. My only criticism would be that I would have preferred that the drills be slowed down and explained more thoroughly at first...there was a lot going on.

Life changed for me as a coach after I adapted this system. I will never use zone again! While this video is seriously old school and not the most exciting thing you will see, it is the best one that I've come across in regards to really teaching man to man defense. His chalkboard stuff isn't exciting, but is right on and incredibly valuable. There are plenty of breakdown drills and highlights in the video as well so don't get discourage by the selection of video you see here. This is one of the best buys!
