Ratings & Reviews Open Practice: Game-like Transition Drills for Practice on July 20, 2019 Currently 5/5 Stars.5/5 Stars 5 by Anonymous 3 years ago I said "In 5 years John Bielien will win a National Championship" - I was wrong but he was close 2 years ago I said "In 5 years Tony Bennett will win a National Championship" - I was right Now I'm saying "In 5 years Matt Painter will win a National Championship" - First off they were one of the teams that should have beaten Virginia. And the next reason is Just Watch This DVD and you'll see why I say this. Matt Painter has such an awesome approach to an uptempo practice. His 5 on 5 on 5 drill was ridiculous. He also made me never want to run a Diamond Press again b/c his press breaker is unstoppable. Its something I've always done, but by simply telling the guys where to go first and when to do it - it really makes it impossible to get anything out of your press unless you smother the ball handler with the best trap of all time. After watching this dvd I immediately bought his All Access and other Open Court videos. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful? His defensive approach to 3 on 2, 2 on 1 is different and it makes so much sense. All of the drills are fun and have an offensive and defensive emphasis. I love his Kansas City drill best. All are great conditioners and the teaching is exceptional. 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful?
