Coach K, Boeheim, & Goestenkors Guide Team USA to Gold!

Congratulations to Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Boeheim, Gail Goestenkors, and Team USA on claiming the men’s & women’s basketball gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.  Both squads went undefeated throughout the tournament, posting an 8-0 record.  The men outscored opponents by 30.3 points per game in the first seven contests, and earned a 118-107 victory over Spain in the Championship game.  The women had an average margin of victory of 37.6 points per game, and outscored Australia 92-65 in the title game.

New Dribble Drive Motion Offense DVDs featuring Vance Walberg!

We have recently released two new basketball DVDs featuring Vance Walberg! Coach Walberg is an assistant coach at the University of Massachusetts and has established himself as one of the game’s most innovative coaches. Walberg, who served as the head coach at Pepperdine University from 2006-08, is well-known for his offensive system which was featured in Sports Illustrated in February 2008. Walberg has had great success with the Dribble Drive Motion Offense or AASAA (Attack, Attack, Skip, Attack, Attack) at the college, junior college, and high school levels. In four years, Walberg guided Fresno City College to a 133-11 (.924) overall record and a California state community college championship in 2005. At the high school level, Walberg guided Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to a 343-68 (.843) overall record, nine league titles, 10 CIF Central Section Championships, and was ranked in the USA Today Top 25 in 2000 and 2001.

New Basketball DVD featuring Geno Auriemma!

We have released a new basketball DVD featuring Geno Auriemma.  Auriemma is the Women’s Head Basketball Coach at the University of Connecticut. Auriemma has guided the Huskies to five NCAA Championships, nine Final Fours, 30 Big East titles, and an overall record of 657-122 (.843). Auriemma has also been named National Coach of the Year six times and Big East Coach of the Year seven times. Auriemma was inducted into both the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (Springfield, MA) and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame (Knoxville, TN) in 2006.
