Michael Pullins, the USC Track & Field Assistant Coach (Jumps), followed his former athletes through competition at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR.  The USC high jump record-holder, Jesse Williams, won the high jump competition and a chance to represent the U.S. at the 2008 Beijing Olympics by jumping 7-6 1/2.  Another former athlete and the USC & PAC-10 triple jump record-holder, Allen Simms, jumped 53-11 3/4.  Simms finished the Olympic Trials in sixth place.
