Coach Thompson presents a look at what he believes is "the lost art of wrestling" - wrestling on the mat. Thompson covers more than 10 tilts and cradles that will give your wrestlers a chance at scoring bonus points. Thompson begins with tilts, starting with breaking the opponent down and concentrating on tight waist control and working the head. Some of the tilts he covers include the Gut Wrench, Bar Arm, 2-on-1 and Chicken Wing. From there he discusses cradles, focusing on side cradles. He puts a lot of emphasis on the lock of the cradle, as well as controlling the opponent's ankle.
