I gave this book "5-Stars". First off,I really enjoyed reading this book. It highlights the Walberg DDMO as well as Calipari's DDMO and how they are setup differently. The book gives you tons of information and drills. For example, when running the fastbreak, you get details on how your PG should receive the ball in order to get into the "blow-out" zone quickly. You get information on wing penetration, as well as the famous, or imfamous "Daily 45", which are the drills that develop the fundamentals of the DDMO.
If you have the budget to get the DVDs of Walberg and Calipari, go for it. Nothing wrong with that. I have coach Vance Walberg and coach Jerry Petitgoue's DVDs.For me, I had to have a book, just in case I lose or break my DVDs. Plus I can make a copy in keep it in my playbook in case I forget a step. It is always ready for me to use.
This book is a great resource to have in case you can not get the DVDs. The DVDs give you a visual aide and are wonderful tool to use to coach your players through the DDMO. This book just gives you something to take to practice in case you forget a step that you saw in the DVD. You can't go wrong with this book. Great read.
