As with many of these older videos, coach McDermott starts with a discussion about using set plays for your primary offense, and the issues with players remembering each play. Some of this is interesting, but it takes 25 minutes before we get players on the floor to go through some of the set plays and quick hitters.
There are a good number of set plays and quick hitters here, and almost all include counters and adjustments. He goes through one basic two guard front set with eight counters and options, and shows it on both sides of the floor. He also goes through counters to traps and aggressive pressure used to disrupt the set plays.
We get some additional set plays throughout the video, and in the last 20 minutes he goes into zone set plays. The zone set plays involve the usual screening, overload and post flashing but are overall pretty good. Be aware that a number involve lobs (for both m2m and zone) if lobs aren't your thing.
I think this is a good resource, and I'll be hanging on to my copy for future reference. Minus one point for the long intro and stories throughout, but otherwise a solid video. 4/6 stars
