Building an Elite Offense
Building an elite offense requires clarity, flow, and a strong foundation. In this comprehensive instructional video, Dillon Hargrove, the 2024 NJCAA National Championship coach at National Park College, demonstrates the four layers of offense that create an efficient and high-scoring system. Coaches will learn how to implement a base offense that seamlessly transitions from full court to half court, uses continuity sets, and allows for quick-hitting actions when time is short.

Foundational Principles
Coach Hargrove begins with foundational principles for building an effective offense, including the Blue Offense that creates flow, discipline, and consistent decision-making. Hargrove shows how to integrate ball screen actions, pin downs, and continuity sets so the offense moves smoothly from one side of the floor to the other. Using game footage, coaches will see how his team successfully applied these actions in high-level competition.

Transition Offense
Transition offense is a critical component of Coach Hargrove's system. He demonstrates pushing the ball up the floor to create tempo and spacing, using ball screens and pin down actions to open scoring opportunities in both the full court and half court. Coaches will learn to create competitive situations for players while maintaining offensive balance and flow.

Sets & Actions
Coach Hargrove also covers how to structure sets within the base offense and walks through specific actions like isolating one side for a double drag screen or using pin downs to create scoring options. Keeping offensive actions simple allows players to play freely while maintaining offensive efficiency.

Late-Clock Execution
Late shot clock sets are another focus. With 12 to 11 seconds left on the clock, Coach Hargrove teaches quick sets like the Double Set to create downhill scoring opportunities. Post players can use rolls, ghost screens, or pin downs for open shots. Hargrove shows how to move seamlessly from transition to base to quick sets within seconds, teaching players to stay organized and confident under pressure.

Complete Offensive Blueprint
This video is ideal for coaches looking to build a complete man-to-man offense that is easy to implement, effective in transition, and adaptable for late clock scenarios. By mastering the four layers of offense, your team can increase points per possession and develop a disciplined, confident, and efficient offensive identity.

Not tons here. Just the European Ball Screen Offense, a quick hitter and 2 basic end of the shot clock actions that are pretty common. Wish he did more on his primary break, kind of strange to run 4 guys to the same corner on a fast break.
