14x NCAA All-American, Coley Stickels, presents the Double Look Drill to reinforce the habit of breathing fast with the proper timing and rhythm in the freestyle stroke. The swimmer pushes off the wall and with the pulling arm extended out in front, rotates the head while positioned against the bicep for two quick breaths making sure that the second breath is completed and the head returned to facing downward before the recovery hand enters the water.
We have just released a new swimming DVD on the butterfly stroke. University of Tennessee Head Swimming Coach Matt Kredich and 2008 Olympic Silver Medalist Christine Magnuson collaborated to produce a DVD titled All Access Butterfly.
Matt Kredich is the Head Women’s Swimming Coach at the University of Tennessee where he was named SEC Coach of the Year in 2008. Under Kredich’s direction, the Lady Vols have broken 18 of 19 Tennessee swimming records, had 17 different athletes garner 99 All-America awards, and finished in the top-15 at the NCAA Championships four consecutive years. Prior to his UT career, Kredich turned around the men’s and women’s swimming team at Brown and the women’s squad at Richmond.
