Tim Vom Steeg is a 2x NSCAA National Coach of the Year (2004 & 2006) and a 2x Big West Conference Coach of the Year. He is also the all time winningest coach in Big West history and was inducted in the California Community College Coaches Hall of Fame in 2008.
Elmar Bolowich has guided the Tar Heels to the 2001 NCAA championship and was a national finalist in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, the Tar Heels were a semifinalist in the NCAA tournament.
