Former four year All-American, Rick Demont, discusses the key elements of the freestyle flip turn.  You will learn how to carry momentum into the wall and out of the wall.  These tips will allow your swimmers to make their turns as quick and efficient as possible.

 

The keys to carrying momentum into the wall is maintaining the kick all the way to the wall and pull position into the turn with an armstroke.  The head position and the line that the feet travel in the flip turn are additional key points that Coach Demont discusses.
