The New York Times has recently released an article about The Pistol Offense, an offense created Chris Ault, the University of Nevada Head Coach. The offense was named “The Pistol Offense” because it is run out of a formation shorter than the shotgun. Ault’s former offensive coordinator, Chris Klenakis (now at Arkansas), produced three instructional DVDs titled:
