Lee University Head Baseball Coach, Mark Brew, guided the Flames to a regular season Southern States Athletic Conference Championship. The Flames own a 46-11 overall record and are ranked #4 in the 2010 NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll – (May 4).

The Lee University baseball program, led by Mark Brew, is ranked #5 in the 2010 NAIA Baseball Coaches’ Preseason Top 25 Poll, recently announced by the NAIA. Defending national champion Lubbock Christian University (TX) will begin the season at #1, followed by national runner-up Point Loma Nazarene (CA), Oklahoma City, and Southern Poly State (GA).
Mark Brew, Head Baseball Coach at Lee University, guided the Flames to the 53rd NAIA World Series in Lewiston, ID. The Flames finished 3rd overall and completed the season with a 53-14 record. Lubbock Christian, ranked #1 almost the entire season, battled back out of the loser’s bracket an defeated Point Loma twice to win the 2009 World Series. Lee’s two losses in the tournament were against Lubbock Christian and Point Loma.
