The University of Arizona softball program completed the 2010 season with an overall record of 52-14 and was the 2010 WCWS Runners-Up! Head Coach Mike Candrea has led the Wildcats to 22 Women’s College World Series appearances in 23 years. Arizona (48-11) enters the WCWS for the 22nd time in the past 23 years by defeating BYU in NCAA Division I Super Regional play. Florida (48-8) enters the WCWS for the third consecutive year (2008-2010) by defeating Arizona State in the NCAA Division I Super Regional.
