Elmar Bolowich, North Carolina’s Men’s Soccer Coach, has guided the #5 seed Tar Heels to the semifinal round of the 2009 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship. North Carolina will open its second consecutive trip to the NCAA College Cup on Friday against top-seeded Akron.

Randy Waldrum has guided the Notre Dame women’s soccer team to the semifinal round of the 2009 NCAA Women’s College Cup. This is Notre Dame’s fourth consecutive appearance at the event, and its fifth in the past six seasons. The Irish (21-3-1) have advanced by defeating IUPUI, Central Michigan, Oregon State, and Florida State. The semifinal match will be a repeat of the 2008 championship match with the Tar Heels of North Carolina.

The NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Committee announced today the bracket for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship. The teams will be vying for the rights to compete at the 2009 NCAA Men’s College Cup at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina. Good luck to all programs!

Waldrum, Notre Dame Receive #2 Seed for 2009 NCAA Championships!

Randy Waldrum, Notre Dame’s Women’s Soccer Coach, has guided the Irish to its 17th consecutive berth in the NCAA Championships. The Irish are ranked #4 in the National Soccer Coaches of America poll and received a #2 seed in the Florida State Region. The 17-3-1 Irish begin NCAA play on Friday when they host IUPUI.

Notre Dame Claims 2009 Big East Women’s Soccer Championships!

The University of Notre Dame Women’s Soccer Program has had tremendous success under Head Coach Randy Waldrum. Waldrum has guided the Irish to a 17-3-1 overall record and a 10-0-1 record in Big East play. Notre Dame, currently ranked #4 in the NSCAA poll released on 11/3/2009, won their 12th Big East regular season title and 11th Big East tournament in 2009.

Elmar Bolowich, North Carolina Men’s Soccer Coach, has the Tar Heels playing well. The ACC regular season co-champions hold a 13-2-2 overall record and are ranked #2 in the NSCAA / Adidas Division I Rankings. They will meet NC State in the quarterfinal round of the 2009 ACC Men’s Soccer Championship on Wednesday.
