In just six years at Duke, head coach Beth Bozman has turned the Duke field hockey program into a top tier unit, as the Blue Devils have been a consistent presence in the national rankings. Bozman’s team advanced to four consecutive Final Fours from 2003-06, finishing as the national runner-up in three of those occasions (2003-05).

Enrico Blasi Guides Miami (OH) Hockey to #1 Overall Seed

The NCAA announced that the Miami RedHawks, led by Enrico Blasi,  have been named the top overall seed for the NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Championship.  The RedHawks are also the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Regional and will face No. 4 seed Alabama-Huntsville in Fort Wayne, Ind. Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.  Bemidji State, the No. 2 seed, meets No. 3 Michigan in the other semifinal game Saturday.  The winners play at 8 p.m. Sunday for the regional title and a berth in the Frozen Four in Detroit, April 8-10.
