Playing off dribble penetration is an important concept to be taught in any offense. In this clip, you will see how 2013 Final Four coach Gregg Marshall and his staff take their players through a shooting series to reinforce proper movement and getting set up to take good shots created off drive and kick situations.

Euro Shooting

Player Movements: The “Euro” move – looping behind an offensive teammate driving the basketball – has become increasingly taught in today’s game. Watch how the Wichita State Shockers work on this Euro move as well as a baseline drift move on a baseline drive. The players go through a series of shots that include catch and shoot jumpers, as well as shot fakes with one dribble pull-up jumpers to both the right and left.

Teaching Points: Coach Marshall and his staff emphasize players getting set up properly for the shot by getting their feet set and having a quick release.
