Effective Counters to Create Better Youth Wrestlers!

3X NCAA Champion, Eric Guerrero, believes strongly in having his athletes regularly practice getting off their backs. Use these over and under scenarios to help you and your wrestlers see how to avoid getting pinned.

In part one of this sequence, the practicing athlete gets into a back bridge and “walks” in a full circle. In part two, the partner (A) throws partner (B) to his back and (B) bridges and rolls through then works to score his own takedown. This is not a live situation, it is a drill in this sequence.

Take a look at an additional clip from the DVD, AAU Wrestling Skills Series: Counter Offense.  Also, view other Eric Guerrero videos from our massive Wrestling DVD collection!
