Take a look at an exercise featuring World Championship swimmer, Margaret Hoelzer, and 3x Olympic Swimming Coach, David Marsh. Coach Marsh will describe to you how important it is to establish proper body positioning. Learning to move the extremities from a sound body position with rotation enables a fluid movement and stroke. Don’t force anything when you move your hand and arm in unison with your hips. The drill in this clip focuses on rotation and core body positioning.
Tips: Make sure to find an ideal position that you are comfortable with when performing this drill. You will not use your arms in this exercise.
