New Soccer Instruction Featuring Nationally Ranked Programs (Coaches)!

We have recently released three new soccer DVDs featuring Sean Holmes and Robert (Butch) Lauffer!  The new DVD titles include:

Sean Holmes is the men’s head soccer coach at Drake University. Holmes guided Drake to a 16-7-2 overall record in 2009, capped off by winning its first ever Missouri Valley Conference championship and advancing to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Drake finished the 2009 season ranked #8 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, and will begin the 2010 season ranked #14.

Robert (Butch) Lauffer is the men’s and women’s head soccer coach at West Texas A&M University, where his programs will begin the 2010 season ranked #6 and #11 in the NCAA Division II polls. While overseeing both programs, Lauffer has compiled a 392-162-34 record in 18 seasons. Lauffer holds a variety of licenses, including: a USSF “A” license, Grade 1 coaching license (Irish Football Association), Class “A” license (United European Football Association), and UEFA pro license (Scottish Football Association).




Tom Brands Named As A Top Student-Athlete in Big Ten History!

Big Ten Icons, produced by the Big Ten Network, has named Tom Brands as one of the top 50 student-athletes in Big Ten history based solely on their collegiate playing careers.

Brands, who wrestled for Iowa from 1989-92, was a four-time All-American and three-time NCAA champion in the 134-pound division.  He was named the Outstanding Wrestler of the 1992 NCAA Championships.  The native of Sheldon, Iowa, led the Hawkeyes to consecutive national titles and posted an individual career record of 158-7-2.

A three-time Big Ten Wrestling Coach of the Year honoree, Brands is in his fifth season at the helm for the Hawkeyes.  A 1996 Olympic gold medalist and member of wrestling’s Hall of Fame, Brands is only the eighth wrestling coach at the University of Iowa.  He has an 82-6 overall and 29-3 Big Ten coaching record at Iowa, and a 99-26 career mark.  Iowa has won the last three NCAA and Big Ten team titles, posting a 68-1 dual record.  The Hawkeyes have also won the last three Big Ten dual meet regular season titles, sporting perfect 8-0 conference dual marks each year.

New Basketball DVDs featuring Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee, Bob Hurley, Sr!

Recent 2010 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Bob Hurley, Sr. has compiled an impressive list of accomplishments throughout his coaching career. Hurley, Head Basketball Coach at St. Anthony’s (NJ) High School, has won 25 state titles, three national high school championships and over 900 career games. In addition, he is a two-time national coach of the year. More than 100 of Hurley’s athletes have earned a Division I basketball scholarship and five have been first-round picks in the NBA Draft.

New Wrestling DVDs featuring 2X NCAA Champion, Mark Perry!

We have just released two new wrestling DVDs featuring Mark Perry.  The first DVD is titled Signature Move Series – Mark Perry: The Claw Series, and is part of the Championship Signature Wrestling Move Series.  This series features past NCAA Champions and their “go to” move.  The second DVD is titled Scramble Funk Defense: Winning Bad Positions.

Mark Perry is currently the Co-Head Wrestling Coach at Cal-Poly State University.  Perry, a 2X NCAA champion and 4X All-American at Iowa, served as an assistant to John Azevedo (Cal Poly) in 2009 as the Mustangs claimed third place in the Pac-10 conference.
