Championship Authors Advance to the Semifinals of the 2010 Lacrosse Championships!

Eight lacrosse programs are still alive and will compete in the semifinal rounds of the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Tournament on May 28 and 289th.  The semifnal matchups include:

Men’s Lacrosse Tournament
Virginia (Coached by Dominic Starsia) vs. Duke (Coached by John Danowski)
Notre Dame (Coached by Kevin Corrigan) vs. Cornell

Women’s Lacrosse Tournament
Maryland vs. Syracuse (Coached by Gary Gait)
North Carolina vs. Northwestern (Coached by Kelly Amonte Hiller)

Of the eight remaining programs, five head coaches have produced instructional lacrosse DVDs.  This is your opportunity to learn from America’s best coaches at one low cost!




Lee University & Point Loma Nazarene Reach NAIA World Series!

The Lee University and Point Loma Nazarene baseball teams qualified for the 2010 NAIA World Series.  Lee University, coached by Mark Brew, are 49-11 and are seeded #4.  This is the Flames fourth consecutive World Series appearance and fifth in the last six years.  Point Loma Nazarene, coached by Joe Schaefer, are 38-18-1 and are seeded #9.  The Sea Lions finished as the NAIA Runner-Up in 2009.




Tim Walton Guides Florida to Regional Title; Advance to Super Regionals!

The fourth-seeded University of Florida softball team, led by head coach Tim Walton, defeated FIU 13-3 to advance to their fourth straight NCAA Super Regional.  The Gators will host the Super Regional for the third time in program history as they’ll take on Arizona State. 

The Gators are 29-21 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, and 24-9 under fifth-year head coach Tim Walton.  UF has made trips to the Women’s College World Series the past two seasons, including to the championship series last year.




Patty Gasso Guides Oklahoma Softball to Super Regionals!

The Oklahoma Softball program, led by head coach Patty Gasso, advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals.  The Sooners won their ninth NCAA regional title, as they defeated Syracuse and Fordham twice in the College Park, MD Regional.  They will meet the #3 national seed and defending national champion Washington Huskies.  Washington advanced to the Super Regionals by defeating North Dakota State and North Carolina twice.
