Irish Face Tar Heels in Semifinals of 2009 NCAA Women’s College Cup!

Randy Waldrum has guided the Notre Dame women’s soccer team to the semifinal round of the 2009 NCAA Women’s College Cup.  This is Notre Dame’s fourth consecutive appearance at the event, and its fifth in the past six seasons.  The Irish (21-3-1) have advanced by defeating IUPUI, Central Michigan, Oregon State, and Florida State.  The semifinal match will be a repeat of the 2008 championship match with the Tar Heels of North Carolina.
