Merritt, Specht Guide USA Football to Gold Medal!

Chris Merritt (Defensive Backs & Special Teams) and Steve Specht (Defensive Coordinator) helped coach the United States to a Gold Medal at the IFAF Junior World Championships, an inaugural tournament being contested at Fawcett Stadium which consisted of players aged 19 and younger from eight countries, spanning four continents. Team USA went 3-0 through the tournament, defeating France, Mexico, and Canada by a combined score of 174 – 3.
