Iowa State Hires Kevin Jackson as Head Wrestling Coach!

Iowa State has hired former Olympic gold medalist Kevin Jackson as its head wrestling coach.  Jackson served as the national freestyle coach for USA Wrestling from 2001 to 2008.  Jackson was a captain for Iowa State in 1987, when the Cyclones won their last NCAA team title.  He won a gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992.

Jack Parker Named AHCA Hockey Coach of the Year!

Jack Parker, Head Ice Hockey Coach at Boston University, was named the American Hockey Coaches Association Division I Men’s Coach of the Year.  Parker led Boston University to a 35-6-4 record and claimed the 2008-09 NCAA Championship!  This is the third national coach of the year award for Parker (1975 & 1978) who has compiled a career record of 816-412-101 in 36 seasons at BU.




Eugne Lenti Reaches 1,000 Win Plateau!

Eugene Lenti, head softball coach at DePaul University, recently became the 12th softball coach in Division I to reach the 1,000 win plateau.  Coach Lenti has built the DePaul program from its infancy into a national power within his 28 year tenure.  Lenti has taken four teams to the Women’s College World Series, making DePaul one of only five programs since 1999 to have made four or more trips to the WCWS.   The National Fastpitch Coaches Association Hall of Fame Inductee has won 11 regular season conference championships and has reached the NCAA Tournament a total of 13 times.

New John Smith Wrestling DVDs!

We have recently released two new wrestling DVDs featuring John Smith.  For the first time ever on DVD, Smith reveals the secrets of his devastating leg lace technique. This is the same technique Smith used to capture six consecutive international titles – four world championships and Olympic Gold in 1988 and ’92. Smith also reveals eight options to finish the high single.
