The NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Committee announced the 64-team field for the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. The teams tabbed as the top four seeds were:
#1 – Penn State (Coached by Russ Rose)
#2 – Stanford (Coached by John Dunning)
#3 – Texas
#4 – Nebraska (Coached by John Cook)
