Pre-Season High School Football Rankings include Plano Sr & John Curtis!
ESPN has released the preseason FAB 50 national rankings for high school football. The ESPNRISE FAB 50 national football rankings will be released each Monday, starting on Labor Day weekend and continue through the final game of the various state playoffs around the nation.
Plano Senior High School and John Curtis High School made a debut in the preseason rankings. Plano Senior High School (Plano, TX) is ranked #19 after finishing 13-2 last season under head coach, Gerald Brence. Plano lost in the 2007 semifinals to Euless Trinity, who starts the preseason at #1. John Curtis High School (River Ridge, LA) is ranked #23 after finishing 12-2 last season and won the Class AA Championship under legendary head coach, J.T. Curtis. Curtis has won four straight titles (22 overall) and is the second winningest prep coach in U.S. history with a 455-48-6 overall record!
