Indiana Selects Tom Crean as Men’s Basketball Coach!
Indiana University selected Tom Crean to replace Kelvin Sampson as the Hoosiers Men’s Basketball Coach. Crean has spent the last nine years at Marquette University where he averaged 20+ wins per season and guided the Golden Eagles to five NCAA tournaments. In 2003, the Golden Eagles stunned #1 seed Kentucky and appeared in the Final Four! In 2007 -08, Crean’s team finished fifth in the Big East an received a #6 seed. The Golden Eagles won their first round game against Kentucky before falling to Stanford (#3 seed) in a last second heartbreaker.
