For those of you who are not aware of what BasketballHQ.com is we are a basketball site that offers free HD video basketball drills, plays, workouts, and also coaching articles, etc. for all ages and levels of coaches and players. This post is not just going to be an add but is going to try and give you tools that will help you become a better coach.

Wisdom comes from personal experience or learning from other experiences. The same goes for coaching basketball. You can either learn through your own failures or success or learn from coaches that have already done it. That is why we have added a coaching clinic notes section to BHQ

Right now we have notes from Kevin Eastman and Brendan Suhr but we will be adding more shortly.

Basketball HQ offers basketball coaching articles written by various Division 1 coaches as well Division 2 and high school. The goal is to learn from other coaches and better yourself as a basketball coach. This weeks article was written by Ben Thompson an assistant coach at UNC Pembroke. The article is titled "Foundations of Team Defense" and it talks about the 7 foundations that every good defense needs.
