Just looking for some advise from a current A.D

Hello,

I have been looking around the web searching for a site that could answer some of my questions and hopefully this is the one. I am currently a M.S student in Sports administration at an accredited university (2 months until graduation) I received my b.s is exercise science as well. I am currently looking into high school AD jobs at private high schools and/or assistant A.D jobs at very small colleges (division III mostly).

I guess my question is, would a k-12 certification be beneficial for the high school AD position? (mainly private) Do private high schools not "need" a k-12 certification, just a M.S? (I know this is how it works in private colleges) Lastly, how would I go about getting my foot in the door for the D-III position (or any position really) I have been volunteer coaching high school baseball for about 3 years now and I do have college playing experience, currently an assistant manager at GNC (hey it's a part time job, leave it be) and I'm in my last two months of schooling. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
