I've noticed that the Orlando Magic are starting to run the Dribble Drive on certain possessions, usually for a kickout 3, or lob to Howard.

I think that teams with a break down guard, three point shooting, and athletic big can be effective with the dribble drive at any level. With so few skilled bigs in the NBA, and more jumpers then drop steppers - why couldn't the dribble drive work? I'd rather keep posts like Sam Dalembert, Old Man Shaq, Bynum, Okafor, etc out of my guards ways and guarantee these players score more off dumps then off set post-ups.
