Coaches,
My team will be small next season...no experienced player over 5'7. I've come to the conclusion that we'll need to press & fast break. We return 5 players with varsity experience. My theory is...bite the bullet early...get young kids experience by playing the uptempo - press & fast break style - understanding that in the long run (by tournament time) our young players will be more prepared to provide varsity minutes. Having said that...suggested DVD's, thoughts, ideas ???
Thanks,

Coach K has gotten 3 All-Access tapes, well deserved might I say, but if anyone also deserves another All-Access I think it is Geno Auriemma. I have nearly all of Coaches tapes and I think that his way of doing things is incredibly beneficial to coaches of all levels because of the emphasis he puts on skill development in addition to his more sophisticated offensive plans. You might also get more people interested if he keeps up his Princeton offense the next year, hope to see more from who I think is the best coach in college basketball.

I am also looking to see what the average Middle School coaching stipend is? I am looking to add assistant coaches to my program but am not sure how much they should get paid compared to head coaches.
Any advice would be helpful!

Hi everyone,
I'm searching for a DVD that explains a 2-3 matchup zone or at least a real matchup zone. After buying 2 DVD's with the title matchup zone, I have to say they weren't about a matchup zone, just a normal zone. So, can anyone recommend a DVD that is about a real matchup zone? I appreciate your help.
Take care.
