I run something common to the dribble drive and my players love it. We averaged 114ppg in the pre-season with balanced scoring. All five on the floor are involved and have the okay to shoot the ball, as long as it's a shot within their range. I correct the bad shots in practice and we build as we go. I used some of the dribble drive principles, some 4/1 and some of Coach Donavan's pick and roll system all in one. Again, my players enjoy the style and play very unselfish, encouraging eachother to get better.

Winning is a mere united effort of many. A coach's playbook is a place where they can record their team's dreams, goals and competitive desires. A difficulty frequently faced in basketball by many coaches in today's game; is getting their players to react to a defense in a positive, posed, and controlled manner. Flipping the pages of your playbook should reveal a combination of tactical highlights collect from various resources throughout the game. Personally, my playbook is a biography of the the coaches who have come before me; whether I came across the X's and O's from some from an opponent along the way or an awesome online resource, it has helped improve my success and defined my future. Begin finding plays for your playbook today!

I have purchased all three. I was originally looking at the offense / defense tapes, but I ended up getting the entire set for $40 more. Glad I did, I really like the practice planning tape. It covers alot of information and is lengthy. The price point is up there, but you're bascially getting 2+ hours of Knight coaching and then a little bonus material of Texas Tech practicing.

I agree with the M.O., the dribble drive really develops players, and as JS says it's a great offense for having the whole team play together, with lots of assists.

The fact that it's a Dribble Drive offence doesn't mean you can't screen in the offence. On my blog I've outlines both inside screens and pick and rolls: The Dribble Drive Blog
