The Seatbelt Series is unique because it can be used as a defense or offense attack, and can easily flow from a 2-point takedown to a pin. Coach Cysewski developed the series wrestling former teammate at the University of Iowa, Chuck Yagla (a two-time NCAA Champion and 1980 Olympian). Cysewski demonstrates step-by-step the proper positioning, set-up and key teaching points on how to properly hit the move starting from a single leg attack. From there he covers using the seatbelt from double leg attacks, the referee's position and other various positions. He also shows defense and counters to the move. This "old-school" move is simple and safe to use and will lead to big points for your wrestlers.
