The Cowboy Single Leg Takedown

In this DVD, Coach Guerrero breaks down the single leg takedown - from set-up to finish, as well as scramble situations. Guerrero emphasizes positioning and finishing throughout. Proper positioning helps make the finish easier, and solid finishes put the points on the board. The key to proper positioning and finishing are driving (everything must be done on the move) and stay in the direction you are moving. Guerrero covers three tie-ups - inside control, double elbows and collar tie - and includes 2-3 single leg finishes from each set-up. He also shows how to finish from two common scramble situations when your opponent gets his knees down on the mat. Your wrestlers will find themselves in these situations often, and thanks to Guerrero's instruction, they will be able to come away with points!
