The cradle is a powerful move that wrestlers can hit from any position on the mat, offense or defense, to score back points or a fall. In this DVD, Coach Branch takes a thorough look at two cradles - the nearside and far-side cradle. He provides a number of variations to use off each depending on the situation your wrestlers are in. Branch demonstrates the techniques for a nearside cradle from a front headlock (a good defensive technique), a bar arm, the standing position and in other situations. Far-side cradles include the cross face cradle (great for spiral rides) and cradles for leg riders. Branch puts strong emphasis on the lock, how to take your opponent to his back from the base position and how to limit the opponent's fighting capabilities.
