Coach Helickson shares the "drilling" philosophy he uses to keep the Buckeyes a national contender year-after-year. All drills shown simulate mat action - from set-up to escape - to better hone your wrestler's skills. Helickson's philosophy centers on position, motion and the power of the hips. He begins by drilling the basic fundamentals in three areas: Power position, penetrations, and attack positions. Incorporating all three areas, Helickson then details over 10 different drills. Each drill can be modified to fit you or your team's style.
