Signature Move Series - Mark Perry: The Claw Series

Mark is verbose, but I love the moves he showed. And I loved that he showed how they need to be executed to make them work.

Mark Perry is a great coach. I can't wait to see his next video. I wish he could have stayed at Cal Poly. The instruction given is presented at a nice pace and easy to follow and understand. I recommend this instructional video to all who wish to take their wrestlers to the next level.

Mark is a very good instructor. He explained his moves very clearly and took just the right amount of time demonstrating them. I like the fact that he emphasized key points too.

Fantastic stuff! Great instruction on the claw and Turk. Throws in a cradle I've never seen before, solely because he wants to help people get better. Great advice on pressure and setting up moves from the top. If you've never bought one of these videos because you're afraid it won't be worth the money, don't be. This one is worth every penny.

Amazing video. At 111 minutes, it's a much better bang for your buck then some of the other short vids out there. Tons of detailed instruction on different moves that are tailored to different body types. Mark Perry is a great teacher here and I definitely recommend this DVD.

Probably one of the best videos I own. Love his metallity. It is now wonder he is seeing success as a coach. Great technique and great footage. Cannot wait to see our team start to utilize these techniques.

Very good dvd. Great emphasis on chain wrestling. It almost reminds me of a John Smith video because he spends so much time and goes into so much detail with each technique. Recommend for anyone who wants to dominate on top.

This is the best DVD I have ordered from Championship Productions! Coach Perry went in great detail on each move and to what situation to use the move. What separates this DVD from others is that the moves are complex but Perry made them look easy. His extensive "ums" were distracting at first, but then it became of what he is--a down to earth, effective teacher & coach.

Great video, Mark Perry REALLY goes in to deep detail with every move. He starts with the claw spiral to a tilt and then goes into leg riding. He also shows 2 sick and unusal cradles and variations them and alot more. He really stresses chain wrestling and how there are endless moves and counters and counters to the counters. Exellent video !!!

This is an excellent product. The moves Mark Perry teaches in this DVD are the most impressive I have ever seen in any of the 20+ wrestling videos I have purchased from Championship productions. Each move is great in it's own right but Mark Perry doesn't stop there. The concept of chain wrestling or flowing from one move to the next is both taught and drilled into the listener from beginning to end.

Adding the chain wrestling concept to these moves creates synergy which makes the combined affect greater than the sum of all parts alone. If your opponent blocks the claw, no problem must leave his neck open for a half nelson. If he bellys down, no problem, he must put your leg in for a turk. If he post his arm, no problem, he must expose his arm for you to use to pin his shoulders. These if/then combinations give wrestlers a tremendous advantage in both skill and confidence.

One other thing worth mentioning is Mark Perry's personality is very likable. He stresses hard aggressive wrestling but alluded to the good sportsmanship point that intentionally hurting others simply for the sake of doing so is not the object with these moves. That kind of sentiment needs to be held by more and expressed more often in todays world. Mark Perry struck me as the kind of young man I hope my son would grow up to be and not just for the championship wrestling achievements.

Wow a lot of material and instruction for the money. Best bargain I've bought. Some of the concepts are fairly advanced, but explained and shown well. Wish there was a 4.9 to rate, just wish there would have been a little more on finishing moves but excellent advice on power half and arm bar!
