Coach Ryan starts with a brief overview on the starting position before moving into the drill instruction. Ryan's drills deliver a variety of benefits to your wrestlers:
In addition, Ryan demonstrates counters to three common breakdowns and a quarter-turn stand-up technique.
Ryan does an excellent job thoroughly explaining and demonstrating each drill, making them easy to implement into your practice. This is an excellent complement to Ryan's Position Drills for Takedowns DVD (WRD-2842)

These are great drills that focus on the little things that will help you get off bottom. I have incorporated them into our practices, and it has been a success.
The main focus here is slightly weighted towards a college style of wrestling i.e. getting off the bottom and scoring an escape vs. mat wrestling. However, I was still pleased with the video. It teaches you how to defend and score an escape when your opponent chops your arm, spiral rides, and ankle rides.
Recommended for anyone who struggles on bottom. The drills and techniques shown on this video really have cleaned up my bottom position.
