I am a Bjj practicianer and have also trained in Sanshou so chose this set seeking a high level coach dvds as instructional series. I have minimal understanding of traditional wrestling but the quality of instruction is so clear and set out in a way that can allow info to be absorbed easily. great dvd set, coaching set ups where extremely helpful as some errors i was making became clear.very good set, very happy with dvd. 6 of 6 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful? Set ups and tieups is a really good one especially. Some of the stuff may be difficult to learn at first, but once you learn it and include it in your arsenal the differances are really noticable in your wrestling. Good stuff! 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful? Yes No John Smith's Takedown Series on June 13, 2011 Currently 5/5 Stars.5/5 Stars 5 by Anonymous You really can't go wrong with one of the greatest American wrestlers in history. All the techniques are broken down in real world wrestling positions. For example, Defense from the Feet shows how to defend from the head and hands defense, to the leg in the air, and when the man is on the ground and top man is in a sprawl position and has to defend. Great college technique for high school kids. 3 of 3 people found this review helpful. Was this review helpful? Yes No John Smith's Takedown Series 5.00 out of 5 based on 3 ratings. 3 user reviews.
